Original Art Designs The flowing 'Rivendale' style, distinctive to the Wareham Forge, is an ideal match for the natural forms of your garden. Find echoes of vines, leaves and flowers in forged steel, copper and hammered brass. As playful as these designs are, they still present a durability that is not measured in mere years - but in centuries! Every object created is an original art metalwork. |

Decorative objects for
your garden can best express your personal style,
without the restrictions imposed by architectural
building codes. Sculptural forms can incorporate
falling water, or wind driven elements. Darrell has experience working with forged metals extending back to the late 1970's. Four years at Ontario College of Art has given him an grounding of both modern design and contemporary craft. His personal work is strongly influenced by both Norse and Celtic artifacts, and the sinuous curves of the Art Nouveau movement. His signature 'Rivendale' style stresses dramatic designs. Each object is distinctive, the bold possibilities of hot forging used to create original art works. |

How does the design process work? How much does it cost? See the section 'On Custom Designs' that details the process of creating an original art metalwork. Some other design roughs for possible architectural projects can be found in the 'Patron Wanted' section. |
